Media Literacy in Teacher Education (NAMLE)
I presented at the National Association for Media Literacy Education this week in Chicago, IL. I met with a great group of educators, researchers, media producers and other great organizations with the common mission to expand media literacy in the United States.
My talk was a case study of the class that I teach for preservice teachers as an introduction to educational technology. It described our humble attempt at integrating media literacy as a module within the course structure, and it allowed me to discusses some of the lessons we learned from that experience.
